Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”) and Sunshine Verified (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your access to and use of SunshineVerified.com and related services (the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

Our Services

Sunshine Verified is a free, nationwide resource for researching businesses and professionals in any industry. The Services include:

• Free research resources covering all 50 states and Washington, DC, organized by industry
• A directory of businesses and professionals
• Educational materials, guides, and checklists
• Ask Lumi, whose free knowledge bank is available and whose optional personalized research is not yet open

The Services are operated from the United States. Users accessing from other locations do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with applicable laws.

Platform Positioning

Sunshine Verified is a research and visibility resource. It is not a licensing board, a regulatory authority, a rating service, or a lead-generation service.

Sunshine Verified does not:

• issue licenses
• provide insurance
• act as a regulatory authority
• independently verify, certify, endorse, or guarantee any business or professional
• monitor any business's regulatory compliance

Businesses and professionals remain solely responsible for maintaining their own credentials. Users must independently verify all information before making hiring decisions.

Listings and Participation

The directory offers three memberships.

Basic Business Listing

A free listing for a business. It shows the business name, an appropriate location, and the industry category, and it renews annually. Sunshine Verified does not independently verify a Basic Business Listing's credentials or current operating status.

Pro Membership

A paid annual profile. It is $97 per year and would renew annually. It adds a business profile the owner can maintain while the profile is active, with company name, address, clickable phone, email, website, company description, services, specialties, and up to three photos or documents, plus one exterior UV-rated Sunshine Verified logo decal mailed to the confirmed address of record, with additional decals purchasable through the account area. Enrollment is not open yet and no payment is currently collected. A Pro membership does not indicate that Sunshine Verified has verified, certified, or endorsed the business.

Pro+ Membership

A paid promotional placement. Pricing is custom and based on the marketing territory selected, and no rate has been published because none has been set. Enrollment is not open yet and no payment is currently collected. A Pro+ placement is always labelled Sponsored. It is paid promotion: it is not a review, a rating, a verification, an endorsement, or a recommendation.

Publicly available information is not a listing. A business whose information appears in an official record has not listed with Sunshine Verified. Sunshine Verified does not create a listing or display a listing designation on the basis of publicly available information alone. Our Resources search is a separate free service: it is not a business listing.

No membership is a rating, a certification, an endorsement, or a guarantee, and none indicates that Sunshine Verified has verified, certified, or endorsed the business.

Listings are informational and are not for sale. Sunshine Verified does not sell placement, position, or prominence in the Directory, and does not offer paid map placement.

By submitting information for a listing, you agree:

• All information submitted must be accurate and kept current
• You are solely responsible for your business practices, services, and representations
• A listing does not obligate Sunshine Verified to publish, retain, or promote it

Failure to maintain accurate information may result in modification or removal of your listing.

User Responsibilities

By using the Services, you agree:

• All information you provide is accurate and current
• You will not use the platform for unlawful, misleading, or abusive purposes
• You are responsible for any decisions made based on information obtained through the Services
• You will perform your own independent due diligence before hiring or engaging any business or professional

Accuracy of Information

Information on the platform may be based on user-submitted data and publicly available records at the time it is displayed.

Sunshine Verified does not guarantee that information is current, complete, or accurate, and is not responsible for changes that occur after information is displayed.

No Reliance

You agree that any reliance on information provided through the Services is at your own risk. Sunshine Verified is not responsible for decisions, damages, or outcomes resulting from use of the platform.

No Project Oversight

Sunshine Verified does not perform, supervise, or manage any work or professional services. All agreements and work are solely between users and the third parties they engage.

Third-Party Relationships

The Services may include or reference third-party providers. Sunshine Verified is not responsible for the actions, performance, conduct, or outcomes of any third party.

Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it.

Payments

Resource searches, educational resources, and browsing the directory are free. Sunshine Verified does not currently collect payment for any listing.

Ask Lumi credits (not yet available)

Ask Lumi is planned as an optional, paid digital assistant. When it opens, credits would be purchased in advance as a one-time payment processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Purchased credits would be added to your account balance, would not expire, and would be deducted as questions are answered.

Ask Lumi is not currently available, and no payments are being collected. Prices, once published, may change at any time, and by purchasing you agree to pay all applicable charges.

Credit Balances, Usage, and Disputes

When Ask Lumi is available:

• Credits are deducted only for questions that are answered
• If a request fails and no answer is produced, no credit is deducted, or a deducted credit is restored to your balance
• Your credit balance and transaction history are available in your account
• Questions about a charge, a deduction, or your balance can be sent to info@sunshineverified.com and we will review them with you

Refunds

A Basic listing is free. A Pro membership is $97 per year and would renew annually. Pro+ is custom territory pricing. Payments are not currently collected for any of them.

For Ask Lumi credits, when available: credits deducted for a question we are unable to answer are restored to your balance, and unused purchased credits do not expire.

Account and Listing Control

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to deny, suspend, remove, or terminate any account or listing at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Engage in fraud, abuse, or harassment
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to Sunshine Verified and may not be used without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

• accuracy of information
• availability of the platform
• results or outcomes from use

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunshine Verified shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
